Hot2000, what is this?

Hot2000 is an energy evaluation software that looks at your home to determine it’s energy rating and ways we can make it more efficiant.

Can I save on energy use?

Saving energy and producing less carbon emissions is the goal.  The actual savings are determined by our energy audit, the ROI recovered from the implementation of recommended revisions is unique to each audit or structure.

Energy Audits with InfraRed Diagnostics

We have many techniques to determine energy efficientcy of dwelolings and commercial spaces.  Infra Red cameras are one them.

What is IR Diagnostics?

Infra Red diagnostics is the procedure where we take IR camera photos of your home or building to determine the areas where there is energy loss.

How does it work?

Infra Red cameras can identify areas of energy loss and energy savings by a difference in colour on the image.  Red will show energy losses, while blue shows areas of less energy being lost.

Why is this important?

This is one of the tools we use to determine your energy footprint.  By using IR camera diagnostics and our Hot2000 software, our energy audits are detailed and comprehensive.

Home Builders / Developers

Residential and Commercial get your BC Step Code certification from Enertech, we manage the process so you are compliant.

Energy Mapping

We use the latest Hot2000 software to create a comprehensive energy map that will stand as a starting point for our project.  This is the “blueprint” for successful implimentation of EnerGuide certification.

BC Energy Step Code compliance?
To comply with the BC Energy Step Code, builders must use energy modelling software. like Hot2000 and on-site testing to demonstrate that both their design and the constructed building meet the requirements of the BC Energy Step Code.   There are more and more BC Municipalities are requiring Step Code comliance with new builds.
What are the estimated energy savings?

Saving energy and producing less carbon emissions is the goal.  The actual savings are determined by our energy audit, the ROI recovered from the implementation of recommended revisions is unique to each audit or structure.
